INSURANCE

We participate with most managed care plans, including (but not limited to) Blue Cross Blue Shield, Coventry, United Healthcare, Aetna, Cigna, and Humana. We are not participating with the following Health Insurance Exchange/ Marketplace Plans:  Alliant, Ambetter, Assurant, Kaiser or Humana HMOx. Prior to creating a portal account with our practice, we recommend that you check with your insurance company to confirm that we are an in-network provider. 

We are not currently accepting new patients with the following insurances: Medicaid, CareSource, WellCare, PeachCare, PeachState, or Amerigroup.

VACCINE POLICY

Cobb Pediatrics firmly believes in the safety and effectiveness of vaccines. For the safety of the community and for the safety of our patient population, we follow the Centers for Disease Control Recommended Vaccine Schedule (unless a vaccine is medically contraindicated).  We do not offer alternate vaccine schedules and we do not unnecessarily "split" or defer vaccines. All new patients (and prospective new patients that wish to schedule a pre-natal visit) are required to register electronically prior to making an appointment. Please follow the steps below:

  • Click here to create an account.
  • Provide YOUR information where prompted (the parent/guardian first name, last name, email address, and your preferred password).
  • Check your email and follow the instructions to verify your portal account.
  • Once you've verified the account, sign in to the portal and enter the patient's information (you will have the opportunity to enter multiple patients under the same portal account if you are registering more than one child). 
  • Upon receipt of your registration,we will contact you to make your account active and schedule your appointment. Our goal is to contact you the same business day.
